On the way to delivering their coffee cherries, farmers pass by a river that runs through the valley below Munyinya. There they stop to float their cherries in the fresh water before reaching Bukeye, an extra step that ensures higher quality coffee.


Coffee varietal: Heirloom Bourbon.

Harvest process: Red honey.

Growing elevation: 1,700 - 2,100 m.a.s.l

Cupping profile: Complex notes of cherry cola and sweet simple syrup combined with the crisp, clean acidity of orange rind and fresh berries. It lingers with a syrupy mouthfeel and a touch of mint jelly.
